Hi folks! I have grown up making memories on Ocean Isle and I'm 60! That's a lot of memories! Also, a lot of rentals! I have a family of 5 tall adults and their partners and we usually try to rent an Ocean Front place at least once a year for family trips. We usually need a large space. This Spring break however, less of us could join, so we decided to take the dog and rent a smaller home. That limits things usually but this house is on the far East end of the Island where 3rd street is more like 1st street and ocean front! We also usually rent on the West side, but after the SONrise service I experienced on the East End, we are East-Enders for life, I think! It was private but friendly, and the most amazing sunrises of my life while staying at this ocean facing wrap around porched, East end jewel! We definitely experienced more freedom with the dog because it was pre-season, but we all agreed, it just feels more relaxed down there with more undeveloped coastal land to explore. Now about the house; Immaculate house, fully stocked kitchen, practically NEW 4 bedroom house for a reasonable rate! The design and decor is so tasteful and you can tell the owners have put a LOT of expense and love into the home; from the indoor furnature comfortable bedding and amazing large screen great room tv and kitcjen table, to the outdoor furnature and pool! It WAS end of March, so it was a bit cool in the water and Ocean and we are still looking for the hot-tub option and tubs rather than only showers, but the whole family took advantage of several polar plunges while there and it was a warm week so we really enjoyed every minute! In summer, this spot will be PERFECT for a small family(especially with small children and dog(s). I highly reommend!

We have stayed at the Pep Sea for the last 2 years and it has been amazing. The home is beautifully remodeled to accommodate all your needs! The kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances and a new washer and dryer unit. The wrap around deck is a great place to spend time as a family and relax while you listen to the waves and enjoy the views. The private pool is a great addition for families who have littles with no fear. OIB itself is a sleepy little spot where the people are hospitable, and the community really supports one another. I have been really happy with Sloane's responses to concerns or issues. We look forward to returning to this slice of heaven every year. Our kids call it "our beach house" and we have built so many great memories in our two stays and we are looking forward to making many more.
